Our thin-layer system NerthusFlow with less than 23mm construction height (depending on pipe diameter) is the optimal solution for renovation projects where the subsequent installation of surface heating and cooling systems should not noticeably increase the room height. NerthusFlow is available as a dimpled membrane with snap-on technology or textile Velcro fleece. The system is sealed with a special screed after the heating pipes have been installed, which has shorter drying times than conventional systems and is also classified as sustainable. These properties make the system the optimal and environmentally friendly choice for renovation projects.
The NerthusFlow leveling compound is suitable for all types of surfaces and installation conditions. It creates a completely smooth substrate without cracks or warping, ensuring flawless installation of floor coverings. The special screed is designed for thin-layer systems.

Thin-Layer System in a Historic Building in Chemnitz
In a multi-family house in the Bernsdorf district, after removing the carpet, the NerthusFlow thin-layer system was installed as a studded sheet in the lowest variant with a height of 15mm on the existing wooden floor. In the bathroom, our Hydroshield Plus decoupling mat was additionally installed under the bathtub to balance out tension.

Renovation of a Single-Family House in Zwickau
In a single-family house in Zwickau in need of renovation, the MC Therm NerthusFlow thin-layer system in the hook-and-loop variant was delivered and installed by the heating contractor after cleaning the old floor, with a height of 23mm. The still-liquid leveling compound is clearly visible. We recommend using a plastering machine to mix the compound.
