When is the ECB2-230V sufficient instead of the ECB8-230V?

The ECB2-230V is sufficient for single-family homes or small properties with a maximum of 2 heating zones. For more than 2 independent zones, we recommend the ECB8-230V.

Can the ECB2-230V directly switch the pump and boiler?

Yes. The ECB2-230V has integrated outputs for the circulation pump and heat generator. This eliminates the need for a separate relay module.

Which thermostats are compatible?

All common 230V room thermostats are compatible – including all wired ENGO thermostats (E901, Easy-230, ESimple) as well as digital thermostats with 230V output.

How does ECB2 differ from ECB8?

The ECB2-230V controls 2 zones, while the ECB8-230V controls 8 zones. The ECB2 is more compact (approx. 150×90mm vs. 330×110mm) and more affordable. Both have integrated pump and boiler outputs.
