The hollow-chamber installation panel made of high-quality polypropylene (PP) is the ideal base for wet screed underfloor heating systems using the staple system. With its precise 100 mm installation grid, it allows for quick and error-free pipe routing without time-consuming measuring. Thanks to its robust hollow-chamber structure, it offers optimal compressive strength and reliably protects the heating pipes during screed work. The panel can be cut without tools using a utility knife and can be installed both as a stapling surface and with clamping rails. Compliant with DIN 18560 and DIN EN 1264 – suitable for new construction and renovation.

What is the difference to the EPS insulation board?

The hollow-chamber laying panel made of PP offers optimal mechanical protection for the heating pipes due to its hollow-chamber structure. In contrast to EPS panels, it is fire-rated (B1) and offers a dual laying system for tacker needles and PP clamping rails.

What pipe diameters fit into the laying panel?

The panel is designed for heating pipes with an outer diameter of 14, 16, and 17 mm. Please select the appropriate panel geometry for the respective pipe diameter.

How is the slab cut on the construction site?

"Can be cut to size tool-free with a utility knife" – the hollow chamber structure allows for easy cutting along the lines without special tools. Safety glasses recommended when cutting.

Is the panel suitable for underfloor heating without screed?

The hollow-chamber installation panel is primarily designed for wet screed systems. Its hollow-chamber structure ensures that the concrete optimally surrounds the pipes during pouring. For dry construction variants, we recommend our dry construction panel.

What are the advantages of PP material over EPS?

Polypropylene (PP) is more robust and fully recyclable. Fire protection class B1 is often a requirement for commercial applications. In addition, PP enables dual system compatibility with staples and clamping rails.
