Why do I need a control station for underfloor heating?

A control station mixes the hot boiler water (often 60–80 °C) with the colder return flow, ensuring that the underfloor heating is supplied with the optimal flow temperature of 20–50 °C. This protects the screed and significantly increases system efficiency.

What's the difference between brass and nickel-plated?

Both variants have a brass housing. The nickel-plated version has a protective nickel layer, which increases corrosion resistance and looks more visually appealing. Technically, both are equivalent.

What area can be supplied by this control station?

Depending on the number of circuits and pipe spacing, the station is suitable for areas up to approx. 160 m². For larger systems, we recommend using multiple control stations or a hydraulic calculation.

What does Kvs 3.4 mean for a three-way valve?

The Kvs value indicates the flow rate in m³/h at a pressure drop of 1 bar. Kvs 3.4 means: At 1 bar differential pressure, 3.4 m³/h flows through the valve. This is sufficient for typical single-family homes.

Is the control station compatible with my heating circuit manifold?

The control station has 1" external threads and fits all common heating circuit distributors made of brass or stainless steel. For 3/4" distributors, a reducing ring (available from specialist retailers) is required.
