What does NC (Normally Closed) mean?

NC means: In the de-energized state, the valve is closed. When power is supplied, it opens. In the event of a power failure, the heating remains safely closed – no uncontrolled heating. Alternatively, there are NO (normally open) actuators.

Which manifold models are compatible with the actuator?

The E30NC-230 is designed for M30×1.5mm threads and is compatible with all common heating circuit distributors of this dimension. M28×1.5mm adaptation is also possible.

What is the First-Open feature?

The First-Open function automatically fully opens the actuator when it is switched on for the first time. This facilitates the hydraulic commissioning of the underfloor heating system after installation.

How many actuators do I need?

One actuator is required per heating circuit (zone). A wiring center (e.g., ECB8-230V) controls up to 50 actuators – sufficient for multi-family homes and larger commercial properties.
