What is the difference to the E901-WIFI?

Both E20i-B/W and E901-WIFI are wireless sets with an 868 MHz transmitter + WiFi receiver. The E20i-B/W has a square transmitter format (80×80mm), while the E901-WIFI has a larger landscape format (150×84mm). The core technical specifications are almost identical.

How far does the 868 MHz connection reach?

868 MHz radio waves have significantly better wall penetration than 2.4 GHz ZigBee or WiFi. Typical ranges: 30–50 m indoors – suitable for multi-story houses.

Can I use multiple E20i sets in one house?

Yes, each set is connected separately to the ENGO Smart App. Multiple sets allow for independent zone control in different rooms.

What happens if the Wi-Fi fails?

The local 868 MHz connection between transmitter and receiver remains active. The receiver continues to operate according to the last programmed setpoint. App control is only possible after the Wi-Fi connection has been re-established.
