How much self-leveling compound do I need?

As a guideline, approximately 1.6 kg per mm layer thickness per m² applies. For a layer thickness of 5 mm and 10 m², you will need approximately 80 kg (4 bags of 25 kg each). Our consulting team will help you with the exact calculation.

How long does the drying take?

Under normal conditions (20 °C, 50 % humidity), it is possible to walk on the surface after approx. 24 hours. The readiness for flooring depends on the layer thickness and conditions.

Can the self-leveling compound be applied by oneself?

Application should be carried out by a qualified specialist company. For large-area applications, we recommend machine processing for consistent results.

Which surfaces are suitable?

Planogel Rheo can be applied to concrete, cement screed, old tiles and other level substrates in accordance with DIN 18202. Prerequisite: a weight-bearing, clean, and primed substrate.

What is the difference to conventional leveling compound?

Planogel Rheo is specially developed for thin-layer underfloor heating systems. The adjustable flowability and the low minimum layer thickness of 1 mm enable optimal results in the NerthusFlow system.
