KLETT PE-Xa EVOH Five-Layer Heating Pipe

PE-Xa (peroxide-crosslinked) achieves a continuous operating temperature of 95 °C and up to 110 °C for short periods. PE-RT (thermally modified) is designed for continuous operation at 70 °C. For modern heat pump systems with a flow temperature of 25–45 °C, both are optimal. For higher system temperatures, PE-Xa is recommended.

The EVOH barrier layer prevents oxygen from diffusing through the pipe into the heating water. Without a barrier, corrosion occurs in the boiler, circulation pump, and distributors. The PE-Xa EVOH hook-and-loop pipe thus protects the entire heating system and significantly extends its service life.

The integrated hook-and-loop strip adheres firmly to MC Therm hook-and-loop fleeces (Slim, Silent or TempusFlat). The pipe is simply pressed on – no clips, no staples. The minimum bending radius is ≥ 5 × outside diameter, which enables flexible laying patterns even in tight areas.

The printed 50 mm installation grid on the MC hook and loop fleeces allows for pipe spacing from 50 to 300 mm in 50 mm increments. Typical spacing is 100–200 mm for living areas and 75–100 mm for wet areas and edge zones with increased heat requirements.

The PE-Xa EVOH hook-and-loop pipe is certified according to EN ISO 15875 (Plastics piping systems for hot and cold water installations) and DIN 16892/93. It meets all common requirements for underfloor heating pipes in Germany and is approved for use in residential and commercial projects.
