It consists of closed-cell high-pressure PE foam with improved impact sound insulation. The welded-on PE film reliably prevents the penetration of flow screed and screed water. The edge insulation strip is FCFW-free, moisture-resistant, and easy to process. Ideal for modern floor and screed constructions.

How is the edge insulation strip secured without self-adhesion?

Without self-adhesion, the strip is attached to the wall with double-sided adhesive tape or mounting adhesive. Alternatively, it can also be held in position by the screed itself – works well with careful screed installation.

Does the film flange need to be cut off?

After the flooring has cured and been laid, the protruding film flange and strip should be cut flush with the finished floor. This provides a clean, aesthetic finish at the wall edge.

How much edge insulation strip do I need?

Consumption depends on the room's perimeter (not the area). For a 5x4 m room (18 m perimeter), you will need approx. 18–20 m. A 50 m roll is sufficient for approx. 2–3 standard rooms.
