When do I choose ECB8-24V instead of ECB8-230V?

The ECB8-24V is suitable when 24V thermostats are used – for example, with flush-mounted thermostats, building automation, or when low-voltage installations are required. In many countries, 24V is standard for thermostatic controls.

Which thermostats are compatible?

The ECB8-24V is compatible with 24V room thermostats in 2- or 3-wire configurations. All ENGO 24V thermostats are directly compatible.

What is the soft start delay?

If all 8 heating circuit valves were to open simultaneously (e.g. after night setback), the full current would flow immediately. The soft-start delay opens valves in stages, protecting the pump and boiler.

Can the ECB8-24V also be wall-mounted?

Yes. The ECB8-24V supports both DIN rail mounting in the control cabinet and direct wall mounting without a rail.
